Registration & Payment Instructions

Summer Camp:

Registration for day camp cancelled before May 31, of current year will be charged a $100 cancellation fee, for overnight camp a $250 cancellation fee, the remaining balance of any amount will be refunded.  

Registrations cancelled on or after June 1, of current year are non-Refundable - NO EXCEPTIONS, Camp spots are already limited and are hard to replace with short notice, especially Overnight Camp. Excludes Teen Experience Trip. 

*As of June 15th, 2025, we have slightly increased our t-shirts & hoodies by $5. If you purchased prior, your rate will be honoured and provided at your registered week of camp!

Girls Group:

Girls’ Group sessions are non-refundable, with no exceptions, unless otherwise approved by Power4Teens in advance.

We strongly encourage families to contact us before registering if they would like to discuss the program or determine whether it is a good fit for their child.

Missed Classes: Missed classes cannot be used as a credit toward future sessions or refunded. Credits or make-up arrangements may only be considered in advance for significant or exceptional circumstances and must be approved by Power4Teens prior to the missed class. Credits are not provided for vacations, scheduling conflicts, illness, or other routine absences.

Power4Teens reserves program space, staffing, facilities, and other resources based on each registration, and these costs are incurred regardless of attendance.

In the rare circumstance that an exception to our refund policy is approved, an administration fee may apply.

Monthly Social:  

Non-Refundable! If you are unable to attend with more than 24hrs notice, you can receive a credit for a future social or P4T program. If an exception is made, an administration fee will be applied.

School/ Organization Workshops: 

Amount of session(s) must be paid in full by the start of the first scheduled session. Refunds are determined based on each circumstance (decided upon Power4Teens discretion), administration fee will apply.

Mother/Daughter Retreats:

Registrations cancelled 90 days before our event will be charged a $200 cancellation fee, the remaining balance of any amount will be refunded.

Registrations after the 90 day period are non-refundable - NO EXCEPTIONS. Retreat spots are already limited and are hard to replace especially with short notice. You can transfer your registration to someone else however will need to be approved in advance. If an exception is made, an administration fee will apply. 

Self-Defence Workshops:

Cancellations made 15 days or more before the workshop may be eligible for a refund, less a $25 administration fee.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the workshop are non-refundable - NO EXCEPTIONS. 

If you are unable to attend your registered workshop, the registration may be transferred to a future workshop or used as a credit. Credits or alternative arrangements may only be considered for significant or exceptional circumstances and must be approved by Power4Teens in advance.

The Teen Experience:

The deposit for registrations is non-refundable. Registrations canceled before May 1, 2025, will undergo a review process, but approval by Power4Teens Inc. is not guaranteed. Given the limited availability of program spots, replacements are challenging to find, particularly on short notice. In the event that an exception is granted, an administration fee will be applied, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

Please be aware that Power4Teens Inc. does not refund airfare or any other expenses incurred due to program changes or cancellations. It is advisable to consider this when purchasing non-refundable tickets and to explore the option of acquiring cancellation insurance to mitigate potential risks.

Why we have our policy in place: 

The reason for our policy is that most bookings and planning for all programs (especially overnight camp) are made prior to March, so when our camps become full, we turn clients away, making it challenging to then fill the remaining spots. Please do keep in mind, we are a small community business promoting empowerment of our youth. We do it for love not the money, however, still need to survive.
