POWER4TEENS INC. inspires girls ages 8 to 16 to step into their strength, confidence, and leadership. We create spaces where girls who love to stay active, challenge themselves, and build friendships can thrive. We nurture and promote respectful understanding, personal growth, and empowerment

Our programs combine movement, teamwork, and skill-building with plenty of fun! Girls learn to lead, support one another, and grow into positive role models, both for themselves and within our group. We believe every girl has the power to be bold, confident, and unapologetically herself.

Our motto says it all: BeYOUtiful and PowHERful.

“People often say that ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder,’ and I say that the most liberating thing about beauty is realizing that you are the beholder.“-Salma Hayek

“In daily life we must see that it is not happiness that makes us grateful, but gratefulness that makes us happy.” ~Brother David Steindl-Rast

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge the land we are meeting on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. This territory was the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy and the Ojibwe and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes.

Today, Toronto is home to many Indigenous people and we recognize their enduring presence and connection to this land. We are grateful for the opportunity to gather on this land, and we commit to respect, honour and support Truth and Reconciliation with Indigenous people, including importance of the 94 Calls to Action.
