POWER4TEENS INC, a culmination of a lifelong journey, embarked on its mission in 2011 by opening its doors to summer day camps and small girls groups. Since then, our organization has flourished thanks to the remarkable individuals who have been part of it and have wholeheartedly supported our endeavors. Word of mouth has been our primary source of business, propelling us to constantly expand our community.
At POWER4TEENS INC, we firmly believe that our people are our product. We are committed to continuous growth and learning, drawing inspiration from one another, the children and parents we engage with, and the courses we pursue. Our ability to educate and empower others is fuelled by our unwavering dedication to staying informed, remaining perpetual students of life, and honing our skills.
In addition to our summer camps, we proudly offer a wide array of programs tailored specifically for girls. These programs go beyond the classroom, providing girls with unique opportunities to explore their potential and thrive in various ways focusing on basic, but essential life skills.
OFFERING PROGRAMS FOR GIRLS (OTHER THAN IN SCHOOL WORKSHOPS)
What an AWESOME idea...... let's forget for a moment about traditional education, Kumon and Oxford Learning Centres, let's talk about what really creates success and happiness and invest our time in that.. oh yeah!! We know it's important to know how to multiply, do fractions and spell stuff, but it isn't everything, in fact at Power4Teens we believe there is so much more. True power, success and happiness comes from having a healthy self-esteem and confidence, it dictates how we treat and feel about ourselves and others, how we assert ourselves, view and act in the world, and take care of our basic needs and desires.
At Power4Teens we believe in an open mind, a strong body and a beautiful soul and all our lessons, teachings, interactions and activities reflect that belief. We create an environment where we celebrate the fact that we are all unique and respect others differing opinions and we seek to grow together as a community. We believe you need a good understanding of yourself (which can take an entire lifetime!) to know how to manage your emotions and relationships with others. It is only with practice that we achieve a healthy balance of mind, body and spirit and we achieve that mainly through silliness, fun & laughter.
So join us for fun, laughter, fitness, building self esteem, meeting great people and working out who you are, who you want to be, what you want to do and start living the life of that person NOW.
Why wait to feel fab-YOU-lous!!

Shyanne is a vibrant individual who wears many hats. As a loving wife and devoted mother to her amazing, spunky girl, Kaiya, Shyanne's dynamic personality contradicts her seemingly shy name.
Driven by a passion for inspiring, creating, and motivating others, Shyanne's journey as an entrepreneur was an inevitable path for her. With an education in Health & Fitness, she has immersed herself in the field for over 12 years, extending her expertise to working with children. Shyanne lives and breathes health & wellness for the mind, body & soul from children to their parents.
Although no stranger to Power4Teens, in 2019, Shyanne embraced the incredible opportunity of taking over the reins from the amazing founder, Charlie. Oh yeah, and months prior to the pandemic! Her life's purpose is to motivate, coach, inspire and touch every single person who comes in contact with Power4Teens. She can seem like a tough cookie but knows exactly how to push you to your limits with her "outside of the box" thinking and approach.
Empowering young minds in a way that defies description, Shyanne's work revolves around teaching the fundamentals of life and everyday leadership. As a fitness professional, life coach, youth empowerment coach, Shyanne is a lifelong learner and passionately continues to share her wisdom and leads by example.
“As a teen, I needed more positive role models in my life. To be that person now and give back to the community and influence those who need it most, really brings out the best in me. It is truly an indescribable feeling knowing that I am helping change lives of others at such a young age. I seriously have the BEST job in the world!”
No-one could ever say Charlie doesn't know how to have a good time, if there's fun to be had, she'll be there. If she wants something she'll go and get it. She's enthusiastic with boundless energy and a positive outlook on life. She doesn't take life or herself too seriously but takes living very seriously.
Charlie holds an honours degree from Bristol University (England) and tax qualifications from the UK and US. She worked many years as an international tax advisor for Deloitte & Touche and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Realizing her interests and skills could be put to better use she redirected her life path and retrained to become a registered psychotherapist (RP). She is also a personal trainer and fitness instructor with CAN-FIT-PRO and believes for optimal health is a combination of mind, body and spirit.
She is a dedicated athlete, adventure racer, soccer coach, wife and mother; but it is life's experiences, her rocky teenage years and profound understanding and connection with youth which led to her creating Power4Teens.
With a unique connection to youth and the positivity of this new generation combined with an understanding of the challenges, she provides the perfect place for them to discuss and explore their concerns. Whether it be a difficult relationship, effects of divorce, stress and anxiety, depression, eating disorders or sexuality, Charlie effectively leads youth to explore and understand themselves to help them discover the solution to their situation.
Most people discover their true power in their 30's, 40's, 50's, sometimes never. Charlie's goal is to bring this knowledge and strength to teens so they can start living a life free from fear and full of confidence right NOW. Why wait to feel fabulous?
