WEEK 2 - JULY 11-15: Tween Girls Overnight Outdoor Active Empowerment Camp
Port Stanton, Ontario, Muskoka Lakes, ON - (Lake Sparrow)
This is NOT your normal fun overnight camp - it is so much more. The Power4Teens overnight experience combines the great outdoors, swimming, SUP'ing, Wakeboarding, campfire songs with a more intimate environment where positivity, empowerment and self understanding is developed.
The focus is on summer activities, enjoyment and freedom where girls also learn real life skills, leadership, group dynamics & compassion for themselves and others. It develops everything the school system forgets and that the culture of today misses - including mindfulness, real connection, acceptance and getting away from technology and social media. We relish in the freedom of Summer while learning what really matters in life and it's fun. Parents (and kids) often say it's been life changing.
We run it like a family, come alone, come with a friend, it doesn't matter because we all become one. Travelling in our small buses with music pumping and getting out and exploring the area we feel more free and independent but still very well cared for. So much more exciting than being stuck on a camp with a thousand people you won't ever know! We refuse to get bigger no matter what the demand for our camps are! We remain authentic and true to our goals.
Our property is one big beautiful cottage with private sandy beach access to quiet waters. There is a swim dock and safe waters for paddle boarding and exploring. We have workshops, games and activities held outside on the grass or inside in the living area. Our camp cottage has 10 bedrooms (some rooms have several beds, including bunk beds), 10 bathrooms (WHOOOO for all girls!), private waterfront, field for activities and sports, rec room with pool and board games AND a huge projector screen for KARAOKE night!!!!
Great healthy food is prepared and cooked in the cottage by our amazing chef Jen (kids sometimes help) . There are plenty of rooms (capacity of cottages is 36.. we are a max group of 24) with the possibility of sleeping in single, double, triple or quad rooms. Girls can choose rooming options or we help them decide when we get there. Because we take 2 12 seater vans up we have trips into Bala for ski shows, ice cream, hiking and rollerskating.
The P4T difference is due to the size of the camp, the quality of the instructors and the philosophy behind the camp. We take a maximum of 15-20 girls and have 5 leaders.
So you don't have to ruin your weekend driving up North we leave Toronto on Monday morning by bus at 9 am (pick ups in Bloor West Village) and return Friday afternoon (4pm)
$1,150 + HST (Early Bird Rate)
$1,250 + HST (Regular Rate after April 1)
CAN'T DECIDE: JUMP IN AND DO IT - WE'VE NEVER HAD REGRETS!
Our buses leave on Monday 9am from our Toronto location at 360 Windermere, Ave, Toronto and return to the same location on Friday at 4pm. leader in training summer camp

Girls Group Refunds:
NO refunds. Girls group spots are already limited and are hard to replace especially in the middle of a session. We strongly encourage you to contact us directly if you are interested in trying out a class prior to registering online. A credit can be used for up to two years or can be transferred to someone else (only at the beginning of a new session). If an exception is made, an administration fee will be applied.
Due to the worldwide event, we would like to acknowledge and understand our original refund policy does not apply. If the City of Toronto & Toronto Public Health do not permit private summer camps to operate, day & overnight camp will be refunded less an administration fee of 7%. The administration fee is charged to cover a portion of our costs that we have incurred.
*Please note: If the City of Toronto allows us to continue for summer and you wish to cancel your registration, our regular cancellation policy will apply*
The reason for our policy is that most bookings and planning for all programs (especially overnight camps) are made prior to April, so when our camps become full, we turn clients away, making it challenging to then fill the remaining spots. Also, please remember we are a small community business promoting empowerment of our youth. We do it for love not the money, however, still need to survive!
